A Storm of Emotions

From the series "Like the Thread of a Hair" – two paintings which I created especially for Gilad Shalit for  the exhibition "Captive Identity" in the Jaffa Museum for Antiquities".

Dear Gilad,
I have been asked to paint two pictures especially for you for the opening night of an exhibition which is intended for your benefit, and I have chosen three colors:
Black – which symbolizes for me the lack of certainty. Red – symbolizes mixed feelings, and White – hope.
Anger, frustration, anxiety and hope are feelings which I experienced during the painting process and therefore I have named my creations "A Storm of Emotions".
